Assembly 03

As some of you may know, every year in Finland there is a bigass LAN Party called Assembly. Its in an Ice Arena in Helsinki, has a partynet, with a 1 gigabit internet connection and 3000+ people on a network.

Now, me and some of my mates went last year, and are returning this year, and, being students we are ALWAYS looking for the cheap alternative! so if there are more people going the cheaper it gets Last year we were looking at renting a bus but we didnt have enough people to make it worth our while.

Last year it cost me about £300, so its rather steep, but it was well worth it! and itll probly be cheaper if we get a bus (we went by airplane last time, BA, Very nice but broke my monitor, grrrrr).

we will get there on the 31st and stay in a hotel (probly euro-hostel) overnight

wow, thats quite late for a uni, my bro has been home a good few months by that time

 

I am doing dentistry .... 5 years and almost a full time course ... we barely get any holidays
