so I pull up the specs for the ASUS 9600xt and the ATI 9600xt and they both look the same. is there any difference at all, the asus is cheaper, but why. sapphire has a slower bus speed, whats wrong with the asus? and yes obviously I would get a better card but even this is more than my budget can allow which is why I want to save the 40$ on the asus card. just wanted to see what I might be getting into. good thing I don't do anything at work so I can continue looking. thanks
I haven't looked into this but by the sounds of things i think its a marketing move. The Sapphire card, is just standard. Whereas the ASUS is pre-overclocked, and sold cheaper, so more people think, "buy me". Usually works wonders for companies.
