ASUS a7n8x dl cpu running at 90c :rolleyes:

    ok


    I watercooled, well, upgraded watercooling, turn pc on, get to bios see the chip is a 90c then it turns off. I know what it is... Its the COP but what can I do about it? Is there a jumper, or a bios setting I can disable

    I would sort out the cooling first, try remounting the block.

    eh thats alot of work... Got a whole waterblock on it.

    yeah but its cheaper than a new cpu, sounds like the block isnt on square.

    yeh k, hmm, i put my thumb on it, pushed on it a bit, found it at 24c.... ok.
