Yeah not bad, Me I'm running a dual core Opteron 165 cpu in My K8T Neo2-F Bios 9.3 at 2.75GHz, My ram is at 250MHz and the HTT is running at 305.5MHz, My TCCD ram is running at 6-3-3-2.0 T1 and the Divider is at 166MHz also, My idle is lower than 46c, Like about 31c, Full load is at 50c during the day and right now at night It's 44c, Ram speed in the Bios only goes to 280MHz of course, So I had to use Clockgen CG-ICS950405.exe to get to 2.75GHz in Windows XP Pro and Yes I'm running this on Air too. :D

Constant power shutdowns w/NeoHE 550 PSU

Well, I'm totally frustrated with my A8N32-SLi Deluxe... I've finally found a combination where I can get the machine to stay up for at least 30 minutes.

When I have my "normal" load of equipment in the machine, it consistantly power s down within 5-15 seconds of startup. My normal system is the following:

    ASUS A8N32-SLi Deluxe motherboard
Corsair 2x512MB dual sets (total of 2GB)
    NeoHE 550 watt PSU
    (5) WD 250GB SATA drives (four on the NVidia controller, one on the SI ctrlr)
    EVSA 7800GT video card
    Soundblaster Audigy/2 Platinum
    CDRW IDE drive
    DVD+RW IDE drive

So, get the machine to stay on for more than 15 second, I have had to turn off the second monitor (less draw?), 4 of the 5 drives are disconnected, the soundblaster is removed from the system... Now I can get it to stay on, but it *RANDOMLY* powers down between 30 seconds and 60 minutes of operation. I'm getting tired of loosing my work all the time.

The PSU works fine with my other systems (I've rotated it around), but its also the only one with a 24pin plug so I'm trying to keep it with the system that needs the power.

I've seen other posts that there are incompatabilities with the NeoHE 550 and ASUS motherboards, but nothing too specific. And I have yet to hear from ASUS on my issue so I'm starting to poke around to see if anyone else has had experiances in this area or could suggest work arounds.... Although I hate work arounds since it means something is flawed to begin with.

Have you flashed to the latest BIOS and cleared the CMOS?

The NeoHE's have major issues with Asus boards..and many to be honest. Thats your problem.

I have this board and i dont use the AI stuff either and never bother with cool 'n' quiet neither....

I have so far had no problems with this motherboard having had the ASUS A8N - Deluxe before this, its more of the same for me other than its general layout and 32 card bus support....

I am running a AMD 4400+ X2, X1800 XT 512MB (Powercolor), Creaive XF-FI FATAL1TY EDITION, 1 GIG MATCHED PAIR OF GEIL ONE 1.5cas, with seagate SATA2 160gb, and plextor DVD-ROM/WRITER, PSU is the ANTEC NEO480, all housed in the SPCR ANTEC P180 (Black)....

    Pro's
    Fantastic board great brand

    Con's
Not enough space for anything else if u decide upon duel sized card SLI option maybe one PCI left....(One x sound card and one x X1800 XT leaves u with nothing much eaither)

Marcos D: What CPU you got on that setup?

I had my share of problems with the Antec Neo HE 500 after I changed to a DC Opteron on an Asus A8N-SLI Premium (yes the one in my sig), so I changed the Neo HE for a Phantom 500 and no problems since. My sig has a link to the subject as you can prolly see.
