There is a few things missing on this board. Just from looking at the pictures there is no on-board power switch, no TPU/EPU switch, no mem check button and no direct to bios button. This seams to be the lower end of the A88 boards. I would like to see what ASUS can do to the A88 chipest.

It would also be really nice if ASUS stooped using the clear cmos jumpers and did a button for APU boards. Also what happened to ASUS new fan plugs which seance when there is a fan plugged in.

Waiting for the Kaveri-chips and see how the CPU performs. The CPU is currently the biggest hinderness to buy an AMD APU.

Whoopsie: the first 'Kaveri' should be 'Trinity.' I'll go fix that now, ta!

Why have they not left a clear slot below the x16?

This. At least ITX. I'm so bent on making my wife's new PC on ITX that I'm considering jumping ship to Intel if there aren't any AMD boards available.

This is what I was thinking too. It should be PCIe 3.0 - [Space] - PCIe 2.0 - PCI.

Because not everyone uses that slot for graphics when they are using the IGP. :)

But those who do are then not able to use the 1x slot.

It's a fair point. Leaving a space there would have been much more sensible.

Not really, because leaving a space would mean that EVERYONE has lost the functionality, whether you're running a PCIe graphics card or not.
