What laptop models is this docking station compatible with?
    USB2.0_HZ-1 DOCKING-STATION
There's no such information on the Asus site.

The link you have posted says all you need to know.

It'll work on anything running these OSs:

    Windows 7 32bit/64bit
    Windows Vista 32bit/64bit
    Windows 2000 SP4
    Windows XP SP2/SP3
Mac OS X 10.4 or higher

It's just a USB docking station. Once you install the device drivers it should 'just work'

    But...

You'll be making a lot of compromises. Running an external screen, LAN and any USB devices you have over a single USB port isn't always as nice as having everything plugged in to their own USB ports and channels.

    But worth a try

Hmmm... I wonder how it can transmit digital video signal (DVI has a huge bandwidth because it's uncompressed), analog video, analog audio, USB, etc. over a single USB 2.0 connection.
    What's the deal here? Magical-Wonder-USB?

DVI has a huge bandwidth yes, but displaying a desktop/browser isn't going to use that much so USB would handle it fine. Obviously trying to do everything at once over USB isn't going to work that well.
