    I really don't think Vega is going after the 1080Ti.

    I suspect they want to offer vanilla 1070/1080 performance levels for $100 less.

    ..I'd be very tempted to go for a card that offered 1070/1080 performance for £299/£399 respectively or even better, forces Nvidia to drop their prices again.

    Considering the performance of the cooler strapped to it and the usual Asus graphicscard pcb pr0n the £100 premium isn't too bad.

    But yeah, £800 is a lot.
