I have the forementioned card and am interested in converting to watercooling once I upgrade to ivybridge, most likely in about september.

I want to WC the graphics too, and saw this - http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga...tx-series/ek-fc580-dcii-acetal-en-nickel.html

It says it's for GTX580, 570 and 560ti (448 cores) with the directCU pcb. Will I be able to use this block, even though i don't have a 448core card?

No, it won't work with the standard GTX 560 Ti DCII.

Is there much point? I mean at least the stock cooler works on the VRM whereas a universal block doesn't.

A good point, but i find the fans pretty annoying when i'm playing games since i've got it overclocked pretty high.
