    Just a thought, but it would be nice to see an add-in sound card added to the audio tests results just for reference purposes, even if it is just something in the £25 range such as the Asus Xonar DG, although something more expensive such as the Asus Xonar D2X wouldn't go amiss either.

    I believe that this would help give a more accurate representation of the quality of on board sound these days.

    agreed with AlphaAngel. Motherboard makers are claiming their on board solution is as good as an entry level add in card. Would be great to test that.

    Will see what we can do. For reference, bog standard onboard Realtek ALC898 from last gen boards sound gets around 90dBA/-90dBA - You can see in our Z97 graphs here.
