I feel a little silly asking this, but I'm all out of ideas when it comes to solving it.
On all my previous motherboards, if you plug an audio source into the line in socket, as long as it's not muted in the Volume control, then the audio will come out of the speakers.
On my new P5K board with it's Realtek HD Audio onboard, I can plug in an audio source and no matter what volume controls I set either in Windows or the Realtek Mixer, you can't hear the audio.

I use this so that I can have sound coming from both computers from the one set of Heath Robinson 2.1 Speakers, without having to use my Gemini Mixer.

I've googled it, but can't seem to hit the nail on the head.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Rob

    3. Updated the audio drivers/software? (I would suggest removing them completely then re-installing)

    1. Currently on 0704 which is the latest (apart from Beta)
    2. Neither, just the P5K.

Yeah, uninstalled all of them and reinstalled the v6015391. Still no Joy.
The Input device sliders in Volume control are all greyed out except for the Master. It's bugging me really.

[OT] I have the same board and the onboard audio is really crappy. Sound quality is so awful. And I had so much looked forward to HD audio. :(
