Hi everyone , I need some advice as to which motherboard to buy. I have already bought Tagan 900w PSU, 4GB worth of Corsair DDR2 XMS2-8500C5 TwinX, Ninja Plus CPU cooler, ASUS EN7950Gx2 graphics card, Intel Core 2 DUO Extreme Edition X6800 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.93GHz (1066FSB) but am unsure about which motherboard to get. I've narrowed it down to two. Both have the latest Intel 975X chipset. ASUS P5W64 WS Pro http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=0&model=1341&modelmenu=1 ASUS P5W DH Deluxe http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?modelmenu=1&model=1198&l1=3&l2=11&l3=248 I intend to buy the latest Audigy sound card which will take up one PCI 2.2 slot. As you will see, the P5W64 is the latest WORKSTATION board and has quad PCI-E x16 but only 2 available PCI 2.2 slots and has no built in WI-FI and no external IEEE 1394a socket. I do use IEEE's so i have a firewire card that would take up the second PCI 2.2 slot. However, the P5W DH Deluxe, has WI-FI built in, an extra PCI 2.2 (as long as i dont put in a second GPU card) it also has an external IEEE 1394a socket. I have spoken to the person who is going to build my pc and he thinks i should go for the P5W64 and then get a Netgear WG111T 108Mbps Wireless USB2.0 Adapter to fix the WI-FI issue. I am still unsure though why i would even need 4xPCI-E x 16 slots??? I intend to use it for Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, 3Ds MAX, and some low-level gaming like WORLD of Warcraft. Can anyone give me any advice as to which motherboard i should get? I need to decide by this tuesday Thankyou
