    Hi all,

Just sent this message to scan because im having issues with my ram sockets, on a P8Z68-V LX motherboard, only 2 seem to work and the rig is only 2 weeks old.

    Anyone got any experience/Ideas?

    Two options -

    1. if you look at page 1-35 of your motherboard manual it tells you to hold down the MemOK! switch "...until the DRAM_LED starts blinking to begin automatic memory compatibility tuning..."

    or

    2. what i had to do with my P8P67 was to install a single stick into the 2nd slot from the CPU, go into the bios & manually set all of the settings as per my memory -> save & switch the machine off -> & then put in the other (in my case) 3 sticks...

Hmm, Ive tried the mem compatability test but that didnt solve anything @(think I did it twice with different ram placement combinations.

I may try manually setting up the bios in one of the left sockets tomorrow however im not even sure it will boot as far as bios when those "faulty" sockets are full.

Hopefully scan get back to me in the AM

Don't mean to bump an old thread but I was wondering if you solved your issue? I am having the same issue and I've tried everything.

    Cheers,
