As we all know, USB 3.0 has been a big talking point this year, with Intel recently announcing that it will support the standard there has been a lot of products with integrated USB 3.0 - ASUS are proud to announce that they are the first to offer USB 3.0 support from the front panel, not just from the rear I/O. :jawdrop:

Rumour has it that ASUS are currently working with some major chassis manufacturers to cater for front panel USB 3.0 ports and some ASUS motherboards will feature an NEC bridge chip to support up to two front panel USB 3.0 headers.

It would be cool if you bundled a USB 3.0 PCI backplate plug thing for those people who want to use the extra two ports, but don't have a case with USB 3.0 ports on it.

Although, having said that, do many people even have multiple USB 3.0 peripherals?
