By using a currency converter - such as XE

The Asus Striker Extreme costs around £250... which translates to 1,808.81 AED - according to XE.

    Me again :)

Page 2 - penultimate paragraph - 'could cause problems with some of the smaller' - add 'with'

Last page - 8th paragraph - 'when running out stress test' - change 'out' to 'our'

You get a ride on the rocking horse, Tim! :D

Oh aye, excellent review btw. It is a bit 'ouch' on the wallet. It's good to see the P5B holding up its own, for the most part.. but what's with the Quake4 results? Seems ever so low compared to the other test setups (not that I ever play Quake anymore, let alone its 4th incarnation).

£250 seems expensive, but when you take into consideration 'this thing rockkkkkk !!!' it becomes fairly reasonable, possibly even cheap.

I've got one at home, its a great board (although so far I've not given it chance to really stretch its legs).

The only issues I have are:

    1) IDE port placement sucks - I've solved this by going entirely SATA - HDDs and both optical drives. At least they will once the new optical drives arrive :)

    2) Fan header placement is fairly rubbish, although to be fair this is as much an issue of my case and its fan mounts as anything else :)

I've just been on the phone with Asus and I'm told that the stock issues should be resolved in the next few days, with a second batch scheduled to arrive next week. After that, I'm assured that stock will come at regular intervals and the price should come down a little - I'm not sure by how much though.

I've got an Alienware here that I'm tempted to rip apart because the EVGA board in it actually seems to work. :eeek:
