Peripherals Asus STX 2 and emi noise

    been using my stx 2 and recently plugged in the daughter board and to try and 5ch power amp to power some speakers. but i am getting terrible EMi noises. anyone know how to best way reduce emi interference?

    Faraday cage around the daughterboard - get some metal screening mesh and make a small cage and hotglue into place? Although may have a limited effect as the connecting wires can act as an aerial, pick up the EMI and transport it into the board.
    magnetic chokes could be the other answer perhaps? can get clip on ones in a variety of sizes easily enough from ebay/amazon
