yea mine was ripped as well on the side opening, i just put it down to someone at the bt office maybe taking a quick look inside.
See my box was perfect when I got it and now.... arrh what the hell I'm being anally retentive over a freaking box - it's what's inside the box that counts. ^^
VK, as your here, the company I work for are having problems with particular Intel boards and a PNY NVS 420 GFX - I know this is rather cheeky as it's not related to Summit, but d'you know if there are any compatibility issues with the P5Q3 and the aforementioned card, if not we're planning on using them in future. Sorry for the thread hi-jack temporarily folks!
Mine just turned up too So the 785G board has a big sticker on it saying "140w CPU support", which is comforting. Though I'm wondering what will happen if I get the CPU under water, feed it lots of voltage and shoot for 4+ GHz. I've got a solid silver DangerDen block that's been gathering dust for some time, would love to put it to use. After seeing fireworks on some of the 780G boards when popping in high clocked X4s (even at stock), I'd rather hear from the horse's mouth that I'm not going to set fire to my board before going for it.
Got my 955 BE also. Well happy with it - thanks ASUS Bought a 2Gb set of Corsair XMS3 as I can't really afford 4Gb for another month. System is running nicely with Win7.
Not wanting to tempt fate here but in the very unlikely event that our hardware develops a fault and needs to be RMA'd.. what do we do?
was wondering the same when installing my RAM. also, if i were to get a LGA1156 mount from Noctua, we need motherboard recipe
Well been running this AMD system for a couple of days now and WOW! It's a hell of a lot quicker than my old E2160 system. I've not tried overclocking the CPU until I get a Titan Fenrir but I've boosted the onboard GPU from 500MHz to 800MHz and the heatsink is still only a little warm. Been playing games on it without much trouble, which is VERY good for on-board! Eventually though I will get a cheap video card for it.. whatever best sub £80 will be.
Awesome! That's most likely what I'll upgrade to in a month. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-042-GS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387 as it matches the motherboard colour scheme
Cant wait to get blogging! Ive got a hell of a lot to write about and I need to do it before I forget... Please please please give details asap when we can begin and where Andy
