I am planing a HTPC and I am trying to figure out what Motherboard CPU combo to get, Asus AT5IONT-I vs Asus E35M1-I Deluxe Pro.

I don't build HTPCs so I don't really know what the needs are for them and thus don't really know what to put in them, all of this just sounds good to me.

At the moment the Computer will be made up of these parts:
    - Asus AT5IONT-I or Asus E35M1-I Deluxe Pro
    - 2GB or 4GB of RAM (not sure how yet or what speed)
    - a Bluray Drive (Read only, I have a writer in one of my PCs already)
    - 2TB Hard Drive
    - My old 600W OCZ Modular PSU (this might change depending on the Case)
    - My old Lian-Li Case (until I find a smaller, better option)
    - Windows 7 (I know that Atom CPUs are 32bit but what about AMD APUs?)

Any and all insite would be helpfull.

only some atom cpus are 32bit. i have an atom 330 and am running win7 x64, so you just have to pay attention. i think all of the new series are 64bit though. zacates are 64bit. performance results show the zacate coming out ahead in almost every situation, so i would go that way. running win7 i would say 4gb as remember the gpu needs some of the ram as its shared memory, and you need some of that memory for hd playback so don't cut yourself short.
