basically i've had this system up and running for about 19 months now, i cut a hole in the side of the base of the coolermaster to allow the big pipe thing through. However, I still have the prometeia base in its original style bolted to the bottom of the coolermaster. Here is current pic: Now what I want to know is, has anyone tried or can anyone steer me in the right direction to create or modify the Mach II base unit so that it fits in with the coolermaster good 'n' proper? I'm chatting aluminium work, framing, anything If anyone has done this already, please share your experience, that would be amazing cheers P.S. Now before you mention the Lian-Li kit, dont go there, cos it would ming as it looks nothing like the coolermaster
here is what someone did on another forums im part of he hangs out a bit maybe he posted this around here somewhere... http://www.twistedforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11341 here is a render from it
Uh... yup! Ok so buying another 110 is a little bit OTT. Either you try to get hold of some decent aluminium and make a matching enclosure, or try to style it so it sticks out... something bold and different. Those stock cases really don't do justice to the incredibly expensive cooling box you've bought do they? edit: Actually you could try and get hold of a cm710 (since they're cheaper) to hack up, although they might not match metal perfectly... the front *is* alu on those cases though and has that nice vent bit.
