Athlon XP Vcore

    Whats the default vCore for the athlon XP and standard athlon??

    hmmm....my mobo used to set it to 1.8 until i flushed it with the newer bios....

    nice one RTT....but im pretty sure that it is 1.75 as even though the bios sets it to 1.70 in windoz it shows 1.79 and my psu cant be that crap that it ups the vcore by .9V.....hopefully anyway....:eeek: :eeek: :eeek:

    the default is 1.75v in most BIOS.

    nice one. I think I need a newer bios for meh A7V133-C, because it sets the vCore to 1.50 when you reset, baaaaad asus

    Hmm, 1.5, That's strange! Even a Duron doesn't run that low a default vcore! For an Athlon 1.75 is the default, but afew baord make 1.8 the dafault, shouldn't worry too much an=bout that though, just set it right in the Bios.

    id set it to default 1.75v first, then check your temps.
