Hi guys, I'm in the process of getting my older rig up and running (amd X2 4600 etc), and want to put in a cheapest as possible graphics card, for general use, but would like to know if an ATI 5450 would be able to cope with Counter strike source, no aa af etc, on high graphics settings, on a res of 1280 x 1024? I fully intend to swap it out in a few months, and upgrade my 8800GTX to a Saphire 5870, but that isn't 100% certain. Any ideas?

I'd say 100% yes. It's a six year old game and you'll be running at a pretty low resolution. You're talking about getting a card capable of matching a GeForce 6000 series card, that's pretty hard not to do now :)

I've got CS:S running fine on my laptop (Radeon 4200) @ 1366x768. I can see no reason why that card will struggle.

I managed to get the game running on a Nvidia 6150LE chipset back in the time when I had no dedicated graphics card...on low settings at 800x600 admittedly...but still!
