Graphics ATI 6850 or Nvidia GTX560?

    I had a GTX275 which developed problems so bought a Sapphire 6850 Toxic, then decided to see if my old GPU was still under warranty - and it was!
    So have now received a Gigabyte GTX560 Ti as a replacement.
    Now my question is
    which do I use and which one do I sell?

    As much as I love ATI Cards, you have to admit in this case, the NVIDIA is the obvious choice for increased performance. But when you consider that the 6850 is only £134.99 compared to the 560 at £200, It's your choice in personal opinion. Personally I would buy a 6950 for about the same price as a 560 and it is about the same speed, if not faster in some games and does not require as much power, that is of course if you have about £205 ish..Wiry

    That makes me chuckle all the time.. yeah, it may be fast in some games... but then again the other card may be faster in the other games. It's like pissing into the wind really.

    Although, personally I'd just go with the 560, sell the 6870, then, if you wish to, save the money for a 2nd 560... Or just have a few beers.

    Agreed that makes a lot of sense.

    I'd go for the 560 if it was my money.

    Given the choice ...560 or 6eight50, then it's a no brainer ...560 everytime.

    Sell the 6850. The 560Ti, when overclocked to about 1000 core, hits 570 speeds :D
