Graphics ATI Radeon 9600xt tv-out problem

Hi, I'm using a s-video output with an rca adaptor to use the cable I already have to connect my graphic card to my tv, but the colors on the tv are really bad, almost black and white.

I don't know if it is because i'm using the s-video output on my radeon and rca input on my tv or if it is because CATALYST is unable to works correctly or maybe something else, i just want to know what is the problem.

 

same thing was happening with my bro, but all it was, was just the s-video cable was loose in the jack, check your wiring if you havent

 

Make sure you have the output set correct, some cards you have to change in manually.

this is enigmas brother, not sure if you fixed the prob or not. but last night i went to watch a movie on the tv via svideo from pc and i was getting a similar problem. Make sure that the color quality is set 32 bit (highest). If it is any lower you will not get a pic at all or it will be distorted. And like enigma said make sure the svideo cable is pluged in nice and tight (might feel like you are breaking the card, but you wont).
