DeviantPC Article can be found at http://www.deviantpc.com/articles/ati9700wc/index.shtml This is my first post here. I thought this was so cool that it could be shared. I'm not taking any credit.
Looks cool, I just always hate it when they combine aluminum and copper, just can never find any combination that's all aluminum... Just in love with the shiny alu that's all But still, I like this one!
Nice Article, Oh welcome, im relevantly new too but ul find theyre a friendly bunch (who dont bite often)! Anyway have fun and enjoy urself on the forums.
I e-mailed Bladerunner on the avaialbility of these blocks (e.g. could I commission some?) and his reply was: "I'm trying to get my vga cooler builds made into a buyable kit format, but with limited funds to throw at the task it's an uphill struggle and may end up costing out more to make them than people would be prepared to pay for such a thing, I will keep at it though. Additional to this I'm assisting Gainward in a cooling project as well. My intention is to try to make it as affordable as possible but keeping it as true to my one offs as possible. There is however a limit to how cheaply a three block cooler with quality finish could be made, and at the moment I'm attempting to cost it out to see if it will be viable or possible. If I can just get to a Minimal profit level initially then as I go I can work out ways to reduce production time and find easier better ways to do parts of it that will hopefully help. The Gainward connection may possibly help me fund it all to get it off the ground." We can but hope! let's keep our fingers crossed and wish him luck!
I love the custom blocks on that site, I followed the GF4 articles and I wish I could make my own. I hope to get a bench drill and some milling bits soon, but I wish I could aquire a milling machine like that beast. [edit] Hmm £800, I may save up
