Well, Fry's Electronics up here usually sells the 9800 Pro for $250. If you wish, try looking to see if the prices at www.outpost.com has them for the same price.

    $250US?
thats $340CAD, besides, it would have to be at least $75 cheaper on the internet for me to order it online, because shipping charges and the time it would take to get here wouldn't make it worth it otherwise.

Oh, didnt know (or notice?) you were in Canada. If you found it THAT low, I envy you. Thats the best you are likely to find right now.

i have the same sapphire 9800 pro, but look at cooling, because my cooler wasn't good enough on this card so i fit Thermaltake Giant II, many users of this card complains about bad cooling so watch out. but you have choosen a good vga :thumb:

Indeed, the GPU gets VERY toasty, cant OC to more than 400 on the core stabily. Something like the Arctic cool VGA silencer would be ideal.... its fine at stock, and you'll notice the increase from a 4200 :D

At newegg you can get a refurbished for $244 CAD or a new one for $283 CAD.

£108 = $261 CAD but I imagine shipping from UK would be more than from US :D

A non-sapphire card (ATI OEM) can be had from mwave.com for $267 CAD.

A quick search on Google.ca shows:
    $290 CAD

edit: Port Coquitlam is right near Vancouever, isn't it? Isn't it only 20-30 miles to the border? If you have a friend over the border, you could have it shipped to him and then pick it up and save yourself some money. Or go stay at a hotel in WA for a week until it arrives :D
