After a few phone calls we got in touch with an amateur bee keeper who lives in a nearby village who seems eager to try and take our mini hive off are hands.

Thank you for the grammar corrections I have been thinking about retaking my GCSE English. I did obtain a C 1st time but hardly remember a thing.

This, bitches, is the Asian Giant Hornet. It is ****ing huge. And it will **** your **** up.

It is responsible for more annual deaths in Japan than any other animal. Including BEARS and VENOMOUS SNAKES.

And that is why Japan is messed up.

It looks like it's snorting ground up bees through a straw.

Ugh. Ugh, ugh, ugh. This **** is why I want to live in finland, or alaska - no heat, no insects. Thank you very much.

Errr... I think you'll find that if the bees go... then us lot won't be far behind. If they don't pollinate plants... plants don't grow... nothing to suck up all the CO2...

Now wasps on the other hand can F**K right off...

EDIT: obviously I should read the middle part of long threads... :)

You're joking, right? Alaska/Canada in the summer if ****ing insect central. I've not been to Finland but I'd assume it's somewhat similar.

Not to mention all the other Alaska/Canada/Finaland/etc unique critters and bugs that one would likely want to avoid!

I was going to post a link to the turantula hawk but in the spirit of wikipedia i ended up learning that the Black Mamba is in fact off-white and Brazilian Wandering Spider Venom gives mice the horn. :D

If you have to wear a protective veil to go near it, and it's not your soon-to-be wife, it's not friendly.

edit - although I must admit, I love honey.

if the bees in england are anything like the bees we have here (and i do believe they are) then there is not really anything to worry about. my brother is a beekeeper, and we have a few hives in our garden. yes, i have been stung, yes when you are stung, don't get too close (20meters or so) to the hives, or the other bees will get nervous (no stinging yet, only nervous). but in the end, the few stray cats are more bothersome than the hunderds of thousends of bees in our garden. and the honey is fantastic.

i love you now because you did not destroy the hive, but 'gave' it to that beekeeper. get some rep.
