According to Symantec's Internet Security Threat Report, Internet Explorer account for 47% of all known IP addresses attacked. Tbh, that's not surprising. Other figures raise an eyebrow or two though, in the fact the Mozilla Firefox alone accounts for another 20%. Various other web browsers, including Safari, the Mozilla Family, Opera et al, account for a total of 31%. And Netscape appears to be safest atm with a figure of only 2%!
<rant> My bank's website says: and what's worse, when you get through the sign-in page is says (in big, red letters)... I mean, what the hell? Everyone with an ounce of sense knows that IE is the LEAST secure browser and that Netscape is dead and has been for years now, and yet they're harassing people to use them. Some day when Im in a bad mood I'm going to go in and complain about this. </rant>
