Hey everyone! I'm a guitarist, and I have a nice bassy 10W guitar amp sitting under my desk, practically unused. I use a little 5W per channel stereo set for my pc sound, but it lacked bass... the solution: patch thru your guitar amp! So I got a little 3,5mm jack plug and soldered that to a 6mm jack. Plug in the amp and I'm in bass heaven. No subwoofer is gonna beat my guitar amp! just a suggestion for all you bass-hungry people out there... and yes maybe there aren't many guitarists, but for those who are, here's my idea. Maybe you can get a small guitar amp cheep off ebay or something... Oh well maybe you can get 2.1 sets cheep of ebay too... hmmm I'm still pretty pleased with myself anyway O bugger the neighbours are complaining... 11PM bass madness //edit// pics coming up, gotta get hold of a digicam
Yeah i've done this before with my Marshall valvestate nice "little" 40w i got for passing my grade 6 damn shes loud and damn shes basey!!!! It came about because my younger sister always plays her crappy music at obnoxiously loud levels so I tried this and it worked a treat! it took a while to fiddle with the EQ settings but it sounded really smooth when I finished and great with games!
You bet I tried playing UT but my 200Mhz machine won't do it. Even with a 12MB 3dfx card it can only display a max of 22 fps and an average of 15, with a minimum at 5 fps! New PC needed quick!
wow...only thing that beats that is my PolkAudio 7.1 set....i wish..... how much did that Xplode set you back, and where did you get it?
got it froma store called wacky wheatly's I think it's just a canadian company, and then wired it into the amp on my logitech Z-2300's.
