It's 3:00 AM and it's hot so every normal human needs some liquid like water or cola to survive the night/day . So i went to my desk where it could see the contours of my water bottle and happily went drinking from it. When i had enough i took the bottle to a small table beside my bed, it was dark and I know that i have a big mess in my room so i tried to avoid any injuries. I was almost @ the table when i suddenly kicked with my feet against my black-painted side-plate of my pc case. The wider part of the plate(the screw-hole side, about 1 cm wide), with that i mean the bottom of the L-shape so this part ( _ ), was stuck between my 2nd and 3rd toe. It went so hard that it sliced a little part of the flesh between my toes and some from the 3rd toe, which has 2 big bloody wounds now, the 2nd toe is okay . Well the first thing which i came up to is scream like hell and (trying to)run to the bathroom, with a 50% covered-bloody feet i arrived with my still half-sleeping mum beside me. Now there's another problem, when i see blood or have extreme pain i usually get really sick, so i was hanging between my legs almost throwing up too . Well after half an hour it went better and i could get some normal sleep again. The next morning it still hurted and now i can't walk on my right-foot anymore and it's covered with old blood(cleaned it now) and some kind of fluid from the 2 wounds. Conclusion: no sporting for me couple weeks and turn on a friggin' light when it's dark. And put away dangerous metal or casemodding stuff ( like dremels, etc.)
I've done the exact same thing, i didn't notice it was bleeding though, despite the incredible pain, so i left a trail of blood all the way to the bathroom and back along with a pudle in my bed, lovely. I thought i was having a period when i woke up or something
I was in the dark of my room one night (midnightish) a few month's back and stuck myself with an Xacto knife. wouldn't stop bleeding and I ended up having to go to urgent care.
That might have been a few months back, however what happened to the guy in this thread was a few years back.
A blast from the past it might be, but forum etiquette it is not. Agent, stop bumping old threads, please.
