I've got a wierd problem with my audigy 2.

If i have any sound playing i cnanot play another sound. For instance if i have winamp playing and then want to watch a flash cartoon i wont be able to hear the sound from the flash untill i have fully closed winamp.

There must be a setting sumwhere or a set of drivers that sorts this :duh:

Ive fixed the problem now, and found some rather good drivers and it was sorted!

    KX Project

They have tonnes more options that the regular creative drivers and are of superior quality. I would reccommend them to anyone :)

The best solution to any problem with Creative Labs cards is one of these. "Problems with Creative Labs cards" is defined as one of the following:

    *Card doesn't work
    *Card does work
    *Audio quality sucks
*Drivers make me want to blow up CL HQ
*EAX makes me feel like I'm always in an echo chamber
    *It blew up my system
    *Nostalgia for AC97

    And so on.

:hehe: i have to agree! The help with the card is appauling along with the drivers, i should have gone with m-audio :sigh:

Ive had more troubles with the speakers i have! They are creative digital 5500 and can only produce 2 channel analog sound as its a digital input :( i have never used my centre or rear speakers basically waisting £150 :(

Not really, i installed the KX drivers and i did'nt hear any difference, also i coulnd't use my speakers, head phones and mic at the same time, it would only let me use speakers and headphones, when i tried to use the mic i heard a voice going "rah rah rah....." and stuff :worried: freaky. so i un-installed them and updated my Audigy 2 drivers. :D

I would just like to point out how lucky you all are, because it is nigh on impossible to get M-audio (or really any non-creative sound card) here.

Can we add to the list

"Card crackles in analogue mode, card crackles in digital mode" :) gets rather annoying after 2 years of trying to solve it.... esp in feeding my dts amp...

Im using the onboard sound but will evetually get a sound card that works spot on in both modes... (~well i live in hope)

    creative are crap; full .
