I want to be able to have a standard voice modem dial a phone number from a list of phone numbers and play a recorded .wav message or similar file. If it does not connect with in so many rings, it moves to the next phone number and so on. When it reaches the bottom of the list, if any numbers have not been connect, it goes back through the list, only calling those numbers. Does anyone have any cheap easy idea how to do it?
absolutely not! It is, for a phone tree to let friends of mine that are waiting for some updates on a webpage.
if they need an update on a webpage, they have the internet and therfore have email. is email not a better option? Assuming email is not, you could use VB and winsock or similar; though it wont be easy I'm sure.
yes they have all that, but this is so they can be called with out having to sit on the internet all the time.
i have no idea how to do it, but i say good luck i know you'd never use it for telemarketing purposes - because think about it - for telemarketers to get money, they need get information from a person, and a simple recording couldnt get that information.
ok here is how I will work it. I will give 5% of what I make from this to who ever can get it to work. This is something I am going to charge some friends to allow them to be called automatically when the website changes so they can jump the gun to beat out other people going for the same goal.
Ideally what you need is to just code up a wardialer of sorts... if you can find a way to just open a session with your modem the actual dialing and stuff is easy as pie.... then you could try and play whatever tripe down the line... and RPC_Student... if you don't have anything useful to say then just shut up.
