Windows automatic logon

    Can some one tell me how to dissable the automatic login, in xp pro. I just want it to go to the welcombe screen, with the list of users.

    Go to the Control Panel, select "User Accounts" and then click "Change the way users log on or off".

    The options you'll need should be there :)

    That does not work it still automatically logs me on.

    you've not used tweak ui in the past to setup auto login have you?

    also mayb etake a look in your "local security setting"

    in administrative tools

    that has a whole host of options

    no i have not used tweak ui.

    and i can not see any think in the local security setting thing. That i would change this.

    i have managed to do this befor there is a setting somewere i just can not find it.

    Actually once u set a password the logon screen will appear...need u 2 type a password to logon

    Start>Run "control userpasswords2"

    You should see the options you need there, that's all I can think of...
