Hardware Autumn 2009 Graphics Card Upgrade Guide

This is a great article. Thank you Bit-Tech!! The 5870 is the new beast but I'm gonna get another 4890 so I can crossfire. There won't be a great directx 11 game out till Summer 2010 or later. I'm very proud of my HD 4890 and how it performed in your updated test. Now re-run the test with all the cards overclocked cause my HD 4890 runs at 1 ghz and is a monster!

One more thing running two gtx 260-216 in SLI is the BEST bang for your buck everybody knows this.

"impressively low amount of power considering the performance is offers" ... 'is' should be 'it'.

"Then again, the GTX 295 is £330 while a 9800 GT (which performs identically to the 800 GT)" ... '800 GT' should be '8800 GT'.

Just added another 260 to my setup after taking some advice from the Folding guys.
What a great move it was...
119 all in from Scan
Has added some serious kick all around - Folding and gaming
Getting nearlly 9000ppd now(in Sli) - was 7000-8000

A true bargain until the new 300's are out..

Looks like I'll be sticking with the 4890 VaporX until next Summer then. Then I'll look again CF or 5870....decisions decisions.
