Modding av equiptment moddage

    has anyone ever modded any of there av equiptment as i had a brainflash as to have the guts of my itv digital box, vid & anologue sat system all in 1 perspex cube, on shelves with slight that flicker when i change channel, anyone seen this so they still act like they did before but they look better

    i have not seen this, but im sure it would work and sounds like a really good idea

    i guess you would need to add cooling though, as most boxes have the air slots cut in them, but they suck - install a 'digibus' (copyright me :D) to control a series of fans in the acrylic box, could be a design feature as well

    acully i have done that before my cable box vcr and n64 alll in one box it was pretty cool, till my house got struck by lighning and lost it all!! :(

    what im planning on doing is having it all in the box & between all the pieces of kit now i have scart cables (only have 1 piece of rf cable in my setup & thats the aeral) but when i put then all together im going to try & hrad wire cables to each of the pins to carry the signal like that & as i use the auio output on mthe itv digibox (yes i did get itv digital you may all alugh now if you wish, but we got sky downstairs) i was planing on using the audio output to drive some sound sensative el wire that maplins sell i belive (that is if possible & would only have it switched on when mates coe over & i want to pimp my custom entertianment system)
