    good evening people,

i find myself in a bit of a fix. ive got some .AVIs i need to convert to .Vob as i have moved my main gaming PC well away from my TV which i used to have hooked up via DVI.

tried a google search before any answers so.. like type AVI to VOB in google and a million hits came up lol. seen quite a few of those replies of late.

i shifted through the crap until i found FACV, which look like it was for me. however it crashes at 98% so that was epic fail.

others i looked arent free which i forgot to mention is a must as i dont need to do this all the time so dont really wanna waste the cash.

does anyone know of a decent converter thats free and does a good job ?

    thanks in advance

thinking about it, can the PS3 play AVI files ?

never tried but a quick google search says yes but depends on codecs, however not sure how to play them on PS3 as its not mine so i never use it.

i have a great little avi to vob converter. its called DVDflick and its the best all in one DVD authoring software i have come across. You can convert straight to a disk or you can just tell it to convert and put it in a folder. Go with DVDflick my friend you will not be dissapointed.
