All instructions followed correctly, I am a member, I have a nickname and I've posted on a wall somewherre. So what now? The suggestion is appreciated but doesn't apply to me unless I sign up again with a different mail addy etc. Should I do that?

I can get to the page, but when I enter my post I just get a message sayin g the content is empty (which it isn't!) and the post isn't created. Also, there still isn't an AX:GS catagory, but there is one for Dreamhack09 which hasn't even happened yet (I assume it's the winter one anyway)!

 

OK. New post, because it's Official Complaint Time (tm).

I can make posts, but only if I use Internet Explorer. Sigh. And the textarea to type in is black text on a black background. I have to select what I've typed to be able to see it. * Double sigh. And I can't use Greasemonkey to fix it, because I have to use IE!!!

And my post isn't strictly in the correct category.

Here's a hint; the site uses some really really bad JavaScript to do what a normal form post should do. The styling and error checking is ****ed because the JS isn't properly addressing elements.


* Addendum: copying my work from Word caused this, but I've been able to edit my post to correct it. Damn I hate WYSIWYG crap, give me a regular textarea any day.

 

My first post is up, what do you thing, and when should my next go up?

 

I've set a username on the ASUS member site but I still cannot blog on the ROG website. Infact I cannot log in using my username, only my email address.

 

I am also unable to blog although I can login...

I can log in and get to the editor, but not tried to post anything yet. I'll try that over the weekend.

One thing for all to remember.. you MUST use internet explorer otherwise the blogs will not post!

Edit: Booted into Windows, posted fine using IE8.

 

OK afk from my main machine with my typed work on it, so I'll post my first blog when I get home sunday.

 

Still cant find the editor, have logged in etc am I being stupid? can someone explain to me how to post please?

 

I'm not entirely sure what I am meant to click on to get to blogging. I haven't received any emails from Asus except one saying the recipient was out of the office at the time (after I sent my username and real names etc). That was a few days ago, and I haven't heard anything since.

When is the official starting day for the blogs going to be? Also, I have written the first one, and would like to know what the second one should be about

 

I have posted my first and would like to know what my second is about. We are supposed to do 8, could you please list ALL 8 with a date for each to be completed by? If not then I see no point in entering as this is proving to be more of a pain than its worth.

Sorry for the negativity but theres far too little in means of communication at the moment and due to (lets call them medical, none physical before some smart a*se comments) reasons I NEED to know otherwise I wont be able to do this.

Rules stated two 200word posts per week, for four weeks. You need to post about the Xtreme Global Summit event and the prize you took home with you.

As for exact dates, no idea. I've just done my first two this week and I'll just keep doing two a week until I've done the full eight.

 

Are you "simon" on the blogs then? If so I shall just follow your lead

Yeh. I forgot to add a username when I signed up so I guess -VK- just used my real name when fixing it for me.
