    One guiding principle of committing the perfect crime is to leave or no evidence of the misdemeanour. A good set of prints on the murder weapon or a size-ten shoeprint in the flowerbed will not help your case when the Feds come hammering on your door.

    Sadly, the five Texas men who took an axe to an oak tree in Austin completely ignored this criminal tenet when one of them posted a full photo spread of the outrage on his website.

    i dont think its funny at all...

    how anyone could harm something that could live for over 1500 years is beyond me...

    i find that their studity seems insignificant when compared with the horrors of the act itself. in much the same way that i wouldn't find a murder funny under any circumstances...

    Doing the "Tyburn Jig" is a euphamism for being hung. It comes from prisoners being executed at Tyburn in London (Not far from present day marble arch - there's a plaque set in the road somewhere near by, if I remember correctly). The jig was the twitching of the body at the end of the rope. Isn't history grand.... ;)

    as in:

    I hung the coat on his face
    or
    I hung the deer head on my shoe

    and

    He was hanged on friday the 11th
    or
    He hanged himself on a shower faucet

    I personally appreciate the suggestion that my state kills people for stupid crimes that aren't even enforced anymore :rolleyes:

    Well, that's not true. People can be hung :naughty:



    Hopefully these idjits will be caught up in the Hurricane outside my window.
