right i bought a 20 x 4 lcd from rapid they didnt stock one with a back light so i ordered some 2x5xsomething leds (rectangular jobbies with the aim of putting them in between the the metal hold down thing and the lcd itself they didnt fit so i sanded them right down to the metal (they still worked tho) and they fit but they dont give out enuf light so can ne one suggest another method. im toying with the idea of putting neon string underneaththe lcd and letting it shine in from behind i tested it with a led and u could see the led behind the lcd even thru the reflective layer are there ne other ways people can think of to light the little *** cos appart from the lack of backlight its so cool
