    Hey

    I've a question about backlit LCD'd (2x16)

Looking at an additional two pins...
+5v and Gnd for powering the backlight.

Can I just tap the LCD's power pin or
is an additional resistor needed for the
    backlight led....?

Or simply, is a resistor needed for the
backlight wiring of this type of LCD?

    As always my best

    No need for a resistor.
