Is it possible to add in a white LED acklight to my TI-89? I want a little switch so that when its dark I can just flick the switch and see my TI-89's screen. It's just such a pain cuz LCD screen can be a difficult to see in low light.

anything is possible, but i don't think it would look very nice. Since the screen is so big, you would probably have a few very bright spots around the edge where the leds are and then it would be much dimmer in the center

I don't know about backlighting it buuuuut... If you own a Gameboy Advance then chances are you've heard of the Afterburner kit for it... I don't have the specs on it right now, but it might be possible to use the kit to frontlight the calc.... check out Portable Monopoly for more info on the kit.
