    Hi

I have nearly got backuppc configured just how I want it (I have even managed to configure sendmail which I was quite pleases about!), and the only thing still wrong is this error

    2007-09-07 10:00:12 BackupPC_link got error -4 when calling MakeFileLink(/media/array400/backuppc/pc/ned/2/fusers/fnick/fDocuments/fAdobeStockPhotos/attrib, cbc20ed006517d503fae48a0fd737e74, 1)

This is just one of thousands (one for every file)
The pool is empty so it's obviously happening for every file. Permissions on the relevant directories seem right So i'm not sure what the matter is.
I have moved the topdirectory to a different directory to the default location and updated it using the cgi interface rather than a link.

Does anyone have any clues as to what is causing this?
    Thanks,
    Nick

    EDIT:
after reading the other recent thread about backuppc and quite a lot of searching, I may have worked out the problem.
Although the backup directory is movable via the cgi interface, the pool directory is hard coded in. So you can't move the backup directory and still have pooling unless you link the pool directory to somewhere on the same mount as the backup directory.

Imo it should be a bit more obvious that its hard coded!
    Here's hoping that fixed it.
