I'm quite enjoying this game at the minute - it keeps crashing on me and the single player campaign made no sense (having not played bad company 1 I can guess why). Love the sniping though, the CoD levels aren't big enough for good sniping, I haven't had this much fun with a sniper rifle (except in L4D) since Sniper Elite!
after setting FoV to 65 in INI files, singleplayer is still locked at 55, i get a headache playing single player. love sniping, love motion sensor, love spotting and love team work. the sniper rifle and shot guns give soooo much satisfaction when gotten a kill, unlike in MW2.
Well, usually there are free weapons as promotions. Like when the game coems out first, and they're not really unique codes.
Just had my first session, 3 v 3 lol And it's totally awesome!! Maps are huuuge! This is the game I've been looking for, goodbye CoD Knife not being a one-hit kill is gonna take some getting used to though Time for some more methinks.
16v16 is a bit too chaotic IMHO, 12v12 with 100 tickets and no squads of medics feel very balanced, and most of my very good games are at. knifing is 1 hit kill, it's the buggy hit-reg.
Mine turned up on Friday rather than Monday, so was well chuffed. Am playing the single player mode first, as I am not a big online gamer, and quite liking it Trying to work out the best settings for my 5770 and Phenom 965. Currently have it at 1920x1080, high settings for all, vsync and the other option (forget what it is) and the other two settings at 2x. Seems to work very well!
That's a damn good price. I thought I got it for a good price at £26. Excellent game! Except for too many snipers at times.
What it really needs imo is a skill-balancing system with the balls to switch people mid-round. Far too often I've been getting stuck on a team which just gets totally raped.
I like your idea because I keep getting stuck on rubbish squads too. They all want to go it alone. Or maybe its me dragging the rest of them team down being a newb to the game.
Thing that annoys me about these games, clans coming into normal games, and they have to do everything together, I got in a Heli and they told me to get out as there mate wanted to fly with them, and because I said no they crashed the helicopter, then waited ages for another chopper to turn up. This is on a server where there were 4 people including me on the team...
Seems to have gone back up now though, oh well next time awesome game though ill agree, just missing a few pc centric elements like lan play and such which are useful for practice. and has patchy joystick support. If not afraid to edit some config files can be made bearable.. hates throttles though
Arrived Friday, completed just now - not a very long single player campaign - but then what FPS is these days, time to start playing online...
