Not sure where to post this.

I just received my LED fan order from Best Byte Computers today.

When I got home from work I opened one fan and hooked it up before I had to get ready for school. When I got home from school I started installing all the fans and noticed that there were two different colors of blue. I said OK I'll just put bue#1 fans in one area and blue#2 fans in another area. (I bought 10 fans altogether) Then I realized that 3 of the 10 fans had mixed the two different colors of blue LED's.

Anyways, just a heads up to you guys.

The brand on the package says "Y Cooler" and the decal on the fan says "Young Lin Tech CO., LTD."

In addition to the above post I'd like to say that the difference is very small.

Most people probably wouldn't even notice it and many of those who would probably wouldn't care.

I put two of the different fans side by side and asked my sister if she noticed a difference in them and she didn't until I pointed out the color difference.

Where do you think 90% of your stuff is made...
I mean, Lian-li is made in Taiwan...Coolermaster is made in Hong Kong, You should look at where your Antec fans are made... Right along side of these ones.

they are only TW base or HK base companies, they all made in china.

i have Antec1080AMG box right in front of me, MADE IN CHINA is printed on it...

    china doesn't mean it's bad.
most of the production companies have factories in China.
look at Asus, GigaByte, MSI (my dad's company used ship MSI motherboard parts from hong kong to china)
cheap cost workers means they can spend more money on keeping the quality up (if they choose to).

"Sony, Because Americans are just too damn tall" ... from Crazy People.

"Our people are much shorter, which makes them closer to the parts, and able to pay closer attention to details" ...Same movie

Dude, made in china does say alot.

    I'm chinese, i should know :naughty: .

Basically it goes like this for quality of goods..

    Japan
    Taiwan
    Hong Kong

    then..

    China.

    Cheap Labor = Cheap Product.

Rarely anything of highhigh quality comes out of China... and if it does.. RARELY.

Thats why I'm careful of what I buy. Read the labels.

Problem with led fans with cheap tape around the flexi pcb is that when you set them on any metal surface with any amount of force [drop it less than an inch] or the solder joint has any kind of long tip, it shorts through the tape and kills the led....has happened to me alot....as far as dim ones go, well, thats lower mcd rating on the leds....

Some are dim because they can't handle the 12V and have been "nearly" fried... after they have received too much voltage, they tend to be dim, if they work at all..
