Awesome gig. Really. They played for a good 80 minutes. Coming from a band that has songs that average 2mins each that's a helluva lotta songs... And some serious mosh pits. Rocking stuff really. They're one of the few bands I actually think sound a lot better live than studio recorded. Greg Graffin's vocals are just so tight and in time all the time.

Oh, and sorry to any nu-metallers that like em but Pitchshifter blow. Couldn't wait for them to get off.

I'm in Brum this Saturday actually. I usually hang around Forbidden Planet and all the record stores all day. I like Tempest :D

Kaneda --> Hey! Mr Clayden (JS) is an acquaintence of mine! Still, gotta admit I prefer their old stuff. Are they really nu-metal though?

/me sitting here with a big grin cos I saw Tool again last night :D Only have to see them again next year & then I've seen them on every tour of the UK for a decade! God I'm old... :worried:

I dunno, as someone who only listens to about 3 metal bands I'd class them as Nu-Metal. ...prolly cause they got so much electronics in their tunes I guess. I don't like it but the lil kids seemed to I guess. Most of us were shouting at em to get off :D

I still don't get it though, why Pitchshifter, a metal band, supporting Bad Religion, a punk band? Weird choice if ya ask me.
