Can I ask why people have actually added CK to MSN? I mean is it just me that only adds people I actually know?

Or do you guys get off on the fact that you have a big MSN list

I know some of this was joking around, but still....making fun of someones religion, or country is not quite as funny when someone else reads it, I suggest you be a bit more carefull what you say on MSN, people keep histories of it, and there is alot of stuff I can't even quote here that you talked about.

I would be happy to provide the complete un-edited copies of these convo's to anyone that wants them.

Computer King has his share of problems, and like you surmised on one of your MSN convo's he probably is bi polar, or something similar....I have known him for about a year or so, and he was banned from the site I am staff on (PCAPEX) when I caught him in a lie.

However..he has grown up quite a bit since then...he has a long way to go still, and I help him deal with his problems sometimes, I even talked him into seeing a doctor about it, bur I think he stopped going recently.


From what I could tell on your IM's, you guys used to be friends...I am kinda surprised you are so quick to stick a knife in his back.

Maybe I am wrong here, but till you show me the original IM's, I kinda doubt he would threaten your life.

If it's true...then I will shut my mouth and apolgise to you, and deal with CK's issues...I have been working very hard for a long time to help this boy, kinda a project of sorts, and I am not ready to throw that out the window until I see some real proof.

It just seems unfair, that so many people are laying into the guy, yet half the forum has added him to MSN messanger.

These were the days of relative calmness from him, and I was willing to tolerate the lack of punctuation. Plus, hotweel99@hotmail.com doesn't trigger that many alarms. Plus he added me because he was interested in some flower photos I had taken and wanted a whole whack of them for his desktop, so I was slightly flattered. Hindsight is 20/20. Plus I had a good laugh when he was telling me about his new girlfriend (whom may or may not exist) so all in all it wasn't too bad.

 

Wow that's nice. Matt do you relise what "Allah" is? It's the Arabic word for God, it's not some Muslim God. So your basically saying that "God" hates Americans.

I think you're all getting far too worked up over one forum member who doesn't even have any business here anymore. Stop trying to point the finger at everyone or everything and just accept CK was just one of those people. Now move on.

I never had the "pleasure" of IMing with him I never added him nor he I (maybe since I don't have my MSN listed). I'm generally very picky about whom I add to MSN and do a "Background check" if I get a request. The most/all people I have added are people I know personally or know very well through several forums (a few mods).

He did PM me with a few "questions" once regarding part of my Project RAD-GT; I tried answering them, but he didn't seem to get it.


On another note:

 

I missed this post somehow. He was my friend originally, I wanted to help him with his English and how to be a little more calm because I saw how people treated him on the forums. For some reason that I honestly can't recall, I sort of turned against him. Our opinions on things were extremely different, and a lot of the things he would say were very different from what I felt was a "logical" answer. The right thing for me to do if I had a problem would be to leave him alone. But I didn't and I would sometimes just taunt him to get him to argue about things that I didn't care about but apparently he did care about quite a bit. Don't ask me why, I might have been able to tell you in the moment but now I do not know why. Maybe I just thought he was lying. I hadn't thought about these convos since they happened, and reading them now again they mean something else to me. The fact that I wrote some of these things really disgusts me. I had no plan to do that again. At the time he was mad, but later he didn't seem offended, he would regularly strike up a conversation about some computer thing or whatever, and things went on as normal.

It never dawned on me that he might have a legitimate mental disorder. I had no idea that you told him to go to a doctor and you say he actually was if I read your post correctly. I see now that I was far, far more out of line than I previously thought. He did not threaten to take my life, the statement was partially and deliberately taken out of context and if you read the whole convo he meant that in his country laws are very different and that when someone kills someone else it is much easier to get away with it than in America or Europe, especially if you have money which he says he does. An actual death threat from him would not worry me very much anyway because he is on the other side of the earth, and unless he was insane he would never travel all the way here to kill someone he has never even met in the flesh.

I've re-added him to MSN with the sole task of apologizing to him. I haven't felt this bad in a long time.

 

You feel bad 'cos someone caught you in your lie. You feel bad because your peers will now look down on you. I got a GI (general ignore - means nobody can see my posts) ban for a minor altercation in a thread. You MADE UP that CK threatened to kill you, and posted "proof" that just simply doesn't exist. I for one will have trouble believing anything you say on here again.

What I am more surprised about is that this sort of deception, which could be actually life-changing or life-threatening if the wrong people read it in the wrong country, goes completely unchecked. No mods mention it at all.
