Steam Bandwidth Allocation for Steam

    What I want to know is what actual speed internet you're on!! Because downloading at 40kbps in the day and only 60kbps at night is truly shocking!!

    I hope you don't pay for the internet (as in your dad paying for it!) because seriously it's not worth paying for by the sounds of it.....

    Tis weird isn't it when bt won't put a fibre optic cable to a little village in Lincolnshire but will to the major cities ;)

    Yeah know that one all too well from when I visit my mum and brothers, thank god I moved to a big city couldn't cope with rural speeds again ever

    BT and I think we have the unlimited download 20mbps. I would like to point out that on speedtest.net we get ~0.7/8mbps.

    Im sure he means 40 KBps, but even then its kinda slow

    But come on, we all know the solution, next time your dad is threating you, you interrupt him just with a creepy murder look at his eyes.

    change your steam dl server, or just dl when no one else is using it.

    or beg for someone with the games u want to put the steam backup/game folder on disc and post it to you :)
