    So, what are we all doing this fine bank holiday? Being in the tourism trade I have to go to work today, but what's everyone else up to?

    Spit roasting a pig on the lawn of the pub I work at. Horace is going to be one tasty motherporker, I can assure you! Still, working at 10 till 6 at time and a half puts me over £10 an hour, and barely any work besides watching a pig spin round!

    Going to see the scottish rellys in a mo, then heading off to sundown adventureland for my daughter. I used to work nearly every bank holiday so now i dont im making full use of an extra day off:D

    Ah, I think we're quite well blessed with holidays in Germany :hehe:

    Still, what's a bank holiday?
    A holiday spent sitting on a bank? (bench)
    A holiday for bankers?
    A holiday spent in que...qeue...queu...line in front of a bank?

    Maybe you can explain for the non-brits here.

    We pretty much refer to any wide-spread day off as a bank holiday.

    and for the scots saying they have no b/h today, didn't you have one at the start of August instead?

    Wirral Food? Just came back. Was extremely busy, but the Paella was extremely nice, and those chips! You're brave going into Liverpool though with Matthew Street festival.

    Well I've been to work, now I'm home.
    I'm either going to sit on the xbox, go out on my bike, or carry on trying to do some cutting and wiring.
    I'm likely going to end up doing the first.
