Build Advice Bargain basement PC

    Right,

    Am looking to put together a real basic unit for the mother in law...

    She will be on tinted web, doing a few word docs, and playing some music.

    As it would be hiding behind a tv unit, doesn't really matter how ugly it is.

    Any suggestions welcome, would I be better buying we ready made revo thingy?

    Personally I'd go for a Revo or maybe a Zotac Z-Box, some of them are dirt cheap...

    The Revos are very good basic PCs which don't look half bad either.
    It would certainly be capable performing the tasks you require.
    I would recomend a 2GB RAM version though. I think 1GB is just too low for any system now days.
