Ok Windows 2000 SUCKS, it restricts port access so i can't program my Basic Stamp 1 (Parallel port) using Stamp.exe

Parallax acts like the BS1 never existed, and provides ZERO support. (Little @$#$'ers :grr: )

I have tried about six supposed Port Openers that are supposed to allow any program to use the parallel port.

Does anyone know of a programmer for the Basic Stamp 1 that works in Windows 2000?

    stupid reply I know probably....

Have you checked the www.parallaxinc.com website? I had trouble programming my BSII-SX until I got a new version of the software. Can you not get a serial-parallel adapter for the cable?
