Okay, i started this project about 2 or 3 weeks ago!
I havent got very far with it but i have the plans already!
It started life as a Motorway light i found on the side of the motorway :D

My plan was to theme it like the front of the batmobile with a huge fan in the front.
    It was perfect for it!

    The plan was simple enough.
I was to cut out the hole for the huge 120mm fan in the front and a Batman Begins Logo on the top...
..then i found out it was made of alluminium!

    2 Days Later...
After words with my Dad who has had more experiance in his life with alluminium than me told me what to do so i got everything i needed and started!!! FINALLY
    [IMG]

another 2 days later i cut everything out and filed it all down.

the next day i used my P-38 (english bondo) and sanded it down.

And 2night i found more scratches and scrapes so theres more wet and dry sanding to do tomorrow.

    I Hope you like!

What do you think so far?

i have just sanded the final layer of bondo and have quite literally shredded my fingers to the bone. lol

will get pics for you all when i regain feeling in fingers.

Tomorrow i should be getting the tube fitted or i might do that tonight.
also i need to buy the paints for it including primer.

A friend of mine with a huge peice of useless plexi wil proberably let me purchase a peice for a small fee which i will be melting to form the curve of the case so it will fit perfetly in the window.

so.. onwards with the project!!!

i got my paint today, Matt Black and i found one of my old PSU's that still works and as you can see i put in a new silent Akasa Fan.

and it was also a tester for my new paint

my camera phone doesnt do it it justice.

i also figured today after staring at my case for some time that the batman window isn't very centered.
not dramaticly so its not to bad.

I will get some pictures of the top part of the case tomorrow as im still sanding down bondo and filing down the 110mm tube sticking out of it.

as soon as i finish the top part i will get started on marking out where everything is going inside the case. It will all fit just need to arrange it all.

not been a good day for modding.
i planned to finish painting my PSU today.

unfortunutly my stencil wasnt straight the first time, after sanding it down again and redoing it again i didnt mask well enough so i sanded back again and experimented with this.

(my camera phone lets me down again)

its a matt base with slight metallic look :D

then as i was in the painting mood i painted the base of the case.
as you can see the base has a bit of rust in places but theres was nothing i can do. its not in anywhere that it will grow and the paint is metal protecting so no more will crop up.

and the picture i hope you all are waiting for...
    the CASE.

    im sorry for the doodleing.

i hope i will get a chance to finish sanding it down tonight.

i have the perfect candidate for the motherboard tray, its a plastic container its 2mm thick frosted plastic.
