right, this si my situation... - Im behind the biggest gayest firewall ever. It block almost everythign except http, msn and a few other chat things (not including IRC). this is what i want... - a program which can tunnel through it, so i can connect to battle.net and then play agmes of wc3 on it! DOES ANYBODY know how to do this, im getting really bored of not playing wc3! id be really appreciate for any suggestions! Ta
hmm.. sounds like a Uni firewall to me.. or even a work place Http-Tunnel.com (IIRC) may be what you are looking for though you have to pay for the service and its not all that fast tbh.. If you search google for HTTP tunnel, I remember doing it once upon a time, you will actually come to an app with a server that needs to be run on a linux machine the other side of your connection and a client on your machine acting in the same way as HTTP-Tunnel however really I don't think any sollution is going to give the performance you want.
You can download proxytunnels for local install. Ive tried them in the past for things like MSN and IRC (we had the baddest firewall you can imagine...), but I never tried it with games though.
